Spin into them and they will likely hit another nearby crab - repeat this twice in one playthrough of the same level to make the trophy pop. In a single level, spin an enemy into another enemy twice.
Crash bandicoot remastered trial#
Time Trial is unlocked after beating a level for the first time. You can slow down and still earn a gold relic so long as you collect the time crates and stay alive.
Crash bandicoot remastered full#
Focusing on not dying is often better than going at full speed. The time crates will freeze the clock for a few seconds. To beat the required times you must finish the mission as quickly as possible without dying and must get time crates along the way (checkpoints are disabled during time trials). Luckily, you only need all gold relics and not the platinum ones. There are 3 possible ratings depending on how fast you are: sapphire (slow), gold (good), platinum (best). This is going to be the most challenging part of the game! To earn Relics you must finish the time trials (speedruns) in record time.
Crash bandicoot remastered Ps4#
There are 26 Gems total and you need to find all of them to earn the trophy “The Ultimate Gem Path”.Īlso see Crash Bandicoot PS4 Remaster: Gems Locations Guide. Just destroy all boxes and the Gem unlocks at the end of the mission! For these you are allowed to die as often as you want. You must destroy all boxes in each mission to earn the clear gems.
Now that you have the colored gems new paths with additional boxes become available in many levels. Remember for these types of Gems you are not allowed to die while destroying every single box! If you meet both requirements in a single run it gives you the Gem at the end of the mission.Īlso see Crash Bandicoot PS4 Remaster: Gems Locations Guide. They are unlocked from the following levels:Īs you can see most of them are from the last (third) island so you’ll have to do a lot of backtracking to get the normal gems afterwards. Without the colored gems it’s impossible to get the clear ones! There are 6 colors in total. The Clear Gems are unlocked by simply destroying all the boxes in a mission (but unlike colored gems you are allowed to die as often as you want). These paths lead to new boxes that are required for the Clear Gems. The reason you need them is because they unlock otherwise inaccessible paths in all sorts of levels. Step 2: Get All 6 Colored GemsĬolored Gems are obtained by destroying ALL boxes without dying in certain missions (you are, however, allowed to die in the bonus sections). Focusing on the gems right away is not really feasible because you must first get the 6 colored gems (more on that in the next two steps). The first step is very simple: enjoy the game and get used to the controls. The first game is by far the hardest and the third the easiest. If you want to go from easy to hard, start with Crash Bandicoot 3, then 2 and 1 last. With a lot of practice it’s all possible but get ready to replay the same missions many times. Some speedruns are very challenging because there are no checkpoints, so you aren’t allowed to die. The rest of the trophies will come naturally along the way.
Gold relics are earned from getting record times in time trial speedruns. You must destroy all boxes in each mission to earn the Gems (for Colored Gems you must do this without dying). The trophies are fairly straight forward. A DLC consisting of two trophies has also been added and contains missions that did not exist in the original game. For the first time ever, you can play the character “Coco” in addition to the old Crash Bandicoot that we all know and love. The levels and Gems are the same but the game has gotten a complete visual overhaul. This game is a PS4 Remaster of the old PS1 version. Welcome to the Crash Bandicoot Remaster Trophy Guide & Roadmap.
